Meditation to increase emotional intelligence
For today’s tip, I want to talk about your habits. More specifically, when negative thoughts come up. So often throughout the day, I believe it’s 80% is the estimate that 80% of our self-talk is negative. Isn’t that incredible? We’re actually hurting ourselves or tripping ourselves up before we’re getting into the race. So, one of the things I want you to do is I want you to challenge those negative thoughts and become more present and aware through your habits. One of the techniques that I like to work with in terms of clients is more of a meditation technique or deep breath that helps you in terms of focus because this is going to help you become more present and aware. Increasing your emotional intelligence and help you in terms of being able to relate to others as know your own emotions.
